Hi there, I’m Alicia
I'm a fun and effective tutor with over 10 years of experience in science education, biomedical research and higher education.

About Me
I have worked for over 10 years in the science and education fields publishing multiple papers and working as a Biology Professor.
Over the years my passion for science and teaching has led me to become a full-time professional science & math tutor. I work with all ages (K-College), with the majority of my students in the Middle School to College range.
My experience has been that a student's confidence is the strongest predictor of their success. By keeping lessons engaging and fun I can ensure students can get the most out of each session, presenting the topics in a way that is interactive and memorable. As they become more familiar and confident in their subjects they will quickly see a change in their grades.
As a comprehensive tutor, my goal is not just to improve their grades but to work with my students to develop strong, independent learners.
